I have been painting now for more than 60 years. I have traveled all over the United States, Canada, and Western Europe searching for ideas and inspiration for things to paint. I travel with brushes in hand, always looking for that inspiration just around the next corner. The difference of light in a place like central Italy compared to southern England is very exciting to me. The architecture, people, and the fantastic light in these places keeps calling me back. 

Putting my feelings on paper allows the observer to experience the joy I felt while painting. Making that connection with someone feels great. I am never happy to stay in one place creatively for long, so I continuously explore new ideas and approaches to painting.
